In a war that forgot them, five Black women found each other.
An Army nurse counting down the final hours of her tour. An Air Force clerk who refuses to let anyone face the dark alone. A Red Cross “Donut Dolly” on her first terrifying day in-country. Thrown together on the other side of the world, they build something the war can’t touch - a family.
"The End of the Tour" is a new work that shines a light on the Black women who served in Vietnam - women whose courage, sacrifice, and sisterhood have gone untold for far too long. Inspired by real history and presented as a tribute to the brave women who answered their country’s call, this is a story about love, loss, laughter, and the people we choose to call home.
